From renting to owning
A home of your own, in time
Many people who rent today will own tomorrow, including people who use assistance now. A few steps make the path clearer.
- Credit, in house. Our team helps you understand your credit report, what's helping, what's holding you back, and a simple plan to build it, at no cost. Ask for a credit conversation.
- Know your numbers. About a minute, no credit check. Can I afford it?
- Down payment help exists. State, county and city programs can help with a down payment or closing costs, and some housing authorities help voucher holders become owners. A lender who works with these programs is the best guide. The first-time buyer guide
- Talk with a lender early. A short, no-pressure conversation long before you're ready tells you exactly what to work on. Talk with Matt
